Overview
Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability & Learning (MEAL) or sometimes summarized as Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) are an essential part of every organization’s work and a requirement for almost all donor funded projects. Thus INGOs, NGOs, CSOs and local community groups needs to know how to develop proper MEAL policies, procedures, frameworks, plans and to implement them successfully along with doing the needed baselines, mid-term evaluations, end-line evaluations, impact assessments, lessons learned exercises to feed into future programming. All those cannot be kept for trial and error but rather require a well trained and equipped team to know how to implement them up to international best practices and ensures that the organization is in compliance with the donor requirements and international standards. Accordingly, this training is developed to empower participants with all the need to excel in their MEAL work whether they are working at a Donor agency, INGO, NGO, CSO, local community organization or even an M&E Consultant.
