Course Overview

Project management is an ever evolving field of study and practice. Over the past few decades, we have seen major changes in work environments, size of projects, remote work, agility, use of technology and many other advancements that had its changing impact on how the world works, and thus how projects ought to be implemented. 

In this 35-hour PMP® (Project Management Professional) Exam Preparation Program we provide our participants with the knowledge needed not only to pass the PMI® (Project Management Institute®) examination but also to know how to implement what they learn in their life through examples, exercises and group discussions.

Participants receive the 35 contact hours needed to apply for the credential examination after completing the course in addition to sample questions, sample exams, flash cards, and become part of our Project Management community. 

We designed this program to discuss collectively the most critical project management challenges, and best practices, and introduce tools and skills that facilitate adaptation, progress, and team leadership.

The PMP® certification, which is promoted by the PMI®, is the most valued and acknowledged certification by companies for skills related to project management. The PMP® certification guarantees that the bearer has the knowledge and skills necessary to manage a project.

The 35-hour program follows the PMI® Syllabus and prepares to take the PMP® Certification examination based on PMBOK’s 7th Edition.

Prerequisites

Degree Requirement 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or old-school degree
• Minimum of 3 years of project management experience within the last 5 years
• 35 hours of project management education/training or CAPM® certification.

Or

Diploma Requirement 

• High school diploma
• Minimum of 5 years of project management experience within the last 8 years
• 35 hours of project management education/training or CAPM® certification.

Certification Exam Overview

The PMP examination is comprised of 180 questions. Of the 180 questions, 5 are considered pretest questions. Pretest questions do not affect the score and are used in examinations as an effective and legitimate way to test the validity of future examination questions.
